Privacy policy

This document regulates the policy applied by the Truckers Life Foundation seated in Wysoka, ul. Brzozowa 2/9, 52-200 Wysoka, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs maintained by the District Court for Wrocław-Fabryczna in Wrocław, 6th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under the number 0000456520, Tax Identification Number: 8961533368, REGON: 022107086 (hereinafter referred to as: Administrator) within the scope of the protection of users` data and information which may constitute a secret of users` enterprise. This policy applies to the website www.herotrucker.eu. The above-mentioned policy does not include websites and services of third parties, access to which can be obtained with links on the above-mentioned website. Detailed information on the protection of personal data is available at each service provider separately. It is advised by the Administrator to each time acquaint oneself with the said documents on providers` websites.

Cookie Files

The Administrator uses the so-called “cookie files” to track users’ visits to the website, to save their preferences, e.g. language, logging data, as well as to adjust the offered services to their needs. The above-mentioned files are used to develop general statistics on the use of the website by users. The said files shall be stored until out-of-date or expired. The cookie files shall not be made available to third parties, they shall be transferred exclusively to entities belonging to the Trans.eu group. As it is possible to disable cookie files in a web browser, the use of services will be possible, but some difficulties may occur.

Data in Google Analytics The traffic on the Administrator’s websites is monitored by the Google Analytics analytical system, the purpose of which is to collect data on the use of websites and their popularity. These data (e.g. the browser used or the IP address) shall not be made available by the Administrator to third parties.

Collected data

The data are also collected passively, i.e. through the operation of the website (e.g. IP address, resolution, location, browser type). Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to conclude and perform contracts for services and the performance of the contract with the Administrator. In the case of failure to provide the necessary data to the Administrator, the Administrator will not be able to conclude and perform any contracts and provide any service.

Use of data

Users` personal data will be processed: If necessary, for the purposes of legitimate interests performed by the Administrator or a third party (Article 6, point 1 letter f of GDPR), among others, answering a question/complaint, sending the Administrator`s information bulletin on software changes, on Terms and Conditions, etc. to ensure IT security of the Administrator; to investigate clients` satisfaction, to claim compensation and defense against claims, in direct marketing of products and services provided by the Administrator as well as by entities from the Trans.eu group, and other entities for which the Administrator provides its services under separate contracts, for internal purposes of the Administrator, such as preparation of statistics. on the basis of your consent (Article 6, point 1 letter a of GDPR), given for specified purposes (e.g. sending marketing information). Upon the consent given by the user, the Administrator sends information about the Administrator`s current and future products and services via electronic mail in the form of an information or advertising campaign. Within the scope of personal data, withdrawal of consent is possible at any time, but it does not affect the processing of personal data before the withdrawal.

Recipients of personal data Data may be made available to other recipients to perform the contract concluded with you, to comply with a legal obligation to which the Administrator is subject, on the basis of your consent or for the purposes resulting from legitimate interests of the Administrator or a third party. The recipients may especially be: entities belonging to the Trans.eu capital group, institutions legally entitled to receive your personal data in accordance with relevant legal regulations, and entities processing the data as commissioned by the Administrator and their entitled employees, however such entities process the data pursuant to an agreement with the Administrator and exclusively in accordance with the orders and on the condition of maintaining confidentiality. Entities performing tasks on behalf of and for the Administrator include entities providing services to the extent necessary to ensure technical facilities for the provision of services, e.g. IT service providers and entities dealing with technical support. The Administrator shall exercise due diligence in the transmission of data, using measures and safeguards preventing access to data by unauthorized persons (among others SSL, encrypted connections). We inform you that plug-ins of social networks, among others Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc. may be found on the Administrator`s website. As a result of them being placed on the Administrator`s website, the user is obliged to individually acquaint himself/herself with privacy policies of these providers in order to obtain up-to-date information on the protection of personal data.

Sending data outside the European Union Personal data are not transmitted to third party countries (i.e. to countries outside the European Economic Area).

The rights of data subject The user has the right to access personal data, correct them, limit their processing or delete them, withdraw at any time the consent to data processing within the scope the given consent referred to, as well as to move personal data. The user has the right to complain to the supervising body, which in the Republic of Poland is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if the user concludes that the processing of his/her data violates the provisions of GDPR. Moreover, the user has the right to object at any time to data processing for reasons related to your special situation, when the Administrator processes data for the purposes resulting from legitimate interests, for the purposes of direct marketing, including profiling. Upon confirming the user’s identity, the Administrator shall implement the indicated rights based on the analysis of the legitimacy of the demands and the existing legal provisions. The Administrator shall make all reasonable efforts to satisfy the users’ demands regarding personal data unless such data must be kept due to the existing law or other legitimate interests of the Administrator.

Data retention period

Personal data shall be processed and retained by the Administrator for the period necessary for the purpose of: performing the contract concluded between the user and the Administrator – until the completion of the contract and after that time for the period required by law or for the realization of potential claims within the scope of data processing based on the consent – as the Administrator it shall process them until the consent is withdrawn, until the realization of the Administrator`s legitimate interests constituting the ground for such processing or until the user objects to such processing, on the condition that there do not exist any legal grounds for further data processing. Data collected during users` visits to the Administrator`s website shall be processed until they are out-of-date or become useless. It applies to data processed for analytical and statistical purposes, including the use of cookie files and the management of the Administrator`s websites

Security

To ensure security, the Administrator: allows access to the account only upon entering the e-mail address and password (it is recommended to set up passwords consisting of at least 8 characters and containing uppercase and lowercase letters, special characters, and digits), which should be kept secret by the user, monitors the methods of collection, retention and processing of information, including physical security measures to protect the system from unauthorized access, grants access to personal data only to those employees, contractors and associates who must have access to them to process them for the Administrator; what is more, pursuant to the contract, they are required to maintain strict confidentiality, and, in the event of failure to fulfill these requirements, they may suffer consequences, including the termination of cooperation.  

Privacy Policy Statement This Privacy Policy came into force on February 13, 2020. The Administrator reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy if it is necessary due to modifications in the Policy or in company management, law or jurisdiction. The changes shall come into force from the day they are published on the website together with an indication of the date of their introduction.
